| This trailer is sited at a location
in the south of England, it is slowly returning to nature, as far as I
am concerned it is beyond recovery, it is a short distance from the sea,
which has caused all the ironwork to corrode beyond repair. It is
believed to be a 1950's mobile Radar unit, manufactured in Canada and
shipped to the UK following WW2 to act as a gap filler in the cross
channel Radar protection system. It is surprisingly complete and lies
within 500m's of it original location of use, the station itself having
fallen in to the sea some years ago. |
